National Express / First ScotRail Transitional Class 170

Here are representations of the suburban class 170 units, 170450-461, when they were delivered to Scotland during 2004 and 2005, and in between operator transfer from National Express to First Group. Due to the crossover, they were introduced in a variety of incomplete states of identity.

In addition, the second batch of 170s were completed with units 170433 and 434 making up the final express pool.

As per the images shown, unit numbers and condition as following:
170450-453/458-461: Plain White body sides with partial NX cab doors and front surround.
170454-455: Plain White body sides with partial NX cab doors and white cab surround.
170456-457: Plain Blue body sides with white inner-corridor panels & passenger doors, partial NX cab door and white cab surround.

170433-434: Plain Blue body sides, cab doors and front surround with white passenger doors.

From further research, it appeared that certain units had minor alterations added over time as per the below:
170455: FSR branding added to one driving car (uncertain which carriage).
170457: Cab doors colour changed to all blue and white stripe added above most of the windows and doors.
170458: FSR branding added to all carriages.
170461: FSR branding to middle carriage.
