Northern Lines Electric V2.1

Version 2.1 of Northern Lines Electric for Train Simulator Classic has been in creation for around about two years on and off since the initial launch.
This release of the route brings many updates to the route, you will see throughout the route reworked Overhead Wiring utilising newer Series 2 models from Alan Thomson Simulation.
This work was undertaken and gifted to us by Alexander Rosen (Konkacha). This started the ball rolling for a much further widespread update.
On top of the OHLE upgrades a full overhaul of the foliage has been done. An extra mile or so scenery has been addedallowing you to run as far as Bamber Bridge.
A major rework of Preston Station has also taken place utilising the Alan Thomson Simulation model. Script work to allow this model to fit was done by Jack Hales (ChiefJack).
A rework also of the scenarios has been done to make use of newer Enhancement Packs and reskins etc.
Along side Preston’s rework Jack has provided a number of assets to the route and worked with Tom on the scenery revamp.

• Minor foliage fixes throughout.

• Added missing bridge support to bridge between Kirkham and Salwick.
• Swapped all signals to the latest versions from the JT CL. Some signals (mostly AWS ramps and TPWS grids) were using outdated JT_ModernSignals bundled with TPR assets.
• Removed TPWS TSS grids from signals that shouldn't have them.
• Added TPWS TSS grids to signals that should have them.
• Changed some signals from controlled signals to automatic signals as per reality.
• Changed some signals from automatic signals to controlled signals as per reality.
• Changed BL3860 BR from a 2A BR to a 3A BR as per reality.
• Changed PN531 BR from a DTG signal to a JT signal to ensure compatibility.
• Fixed PN531 from incorrectly having the ID PN533.
• Changed BL3809 from a stop signal to a distant signal as per reality.
• Changed BL3877 BR from a 2A BR to a 3A BR as per reality.
• Added missing BL3881 BR.
• Added missing 40mph warning sign on the down line at Layton (permanent AWS ramp was already present).
• Removed 109 corruptions from the tracks.bin which resolves various issues such as signals not clearing.
• Removed small section of 60/40mph speed limit near Kirkham & Wesham.
• Fixed 35mph speed limit coming into force too early on the southern approach to Preston.
• Fixed typos in various scenario descriptions.
• Fixed orientation of AI 6V35 in 6E32.
• Fixed red signal that prevented 6M32 from being completed.**

Installation Instructions

⚫ Open up the folder named Northern Lines Electric V2.1
⚫ Check you have the requirements listed prior to installing.
⚫ Run the installer provided.
⚫ Check you have the scenario requirements before loading them up
⚫ If you have followed the above instructions you should be good to go!
