As part of the South Western Network project, this route is an extension of the Railways of Devon and Cornwall route continuing from Axminster to Basingstoke. Both via Sherborne along the West of England Line and Westbury on the Heart of Wessex Line from Yeovil!

Main Line: Crewkerne, Yeovil Junction, Sherborne, Templecombe, Gillingham, Tisbury, Salisbury, Grateley, Andover, Whitchurch, Overton and Basingstoke.
Heart of Wessex Line: Thornford, Yeovil Pen Mill, Castle Cary, Bruton, Frome, Westbury, Dilton Marsh and Warminster.

As I'm admittedly not great at scenery, the extension is very bare, with track and track infrastructure almost complete with basic platforming, however some stations are complete in terms of detail.
In future versions, I will complete the track infrastructure and stations (although I'm debating on whether or not to use custom models). My hope is that someone else with the relevant skills in scenery work will pick this project up and finally finish this.

Stations complete for detail: Crewkerne, Yeovil Junction, Sherborne, Templecombe, Salisbury (CBM).
Stations complete by asset: Castle Cary, Bruton, Frome, Westbury. (These will soon be completed by merge)

Merges:

In order to save time in places where time consumption is not needed, I will merge Salisbury from Wessex Main Line by Just Trains and Castle Cary to Westbury from SWEX.

In version 1.1, I have merged Salisbury. Though a keen eye will notice that Salisbury is off given how tight some corners are and in one instance, cut off altogether. This is because through the tile merges, the measurements are slightly off. Salisbury is about 460m North West of where it's supposed to be, making the links iffy, but the quality of Just Trains scenery is there and makes this worth it.
