SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Vulcan Productions "BR Blue Class 47 Pack (Pre 1985)" enhanced reskin which also requires the AP Class 47 Pro Sound Pack (currently discontinued) - This is a far superior Class 47 imo (beyond dubious ammeter paintjob and missing ammeter reading in HUD - which can be fixed - see readme) but you may have to swap-in a standard Kuju Blue 47 etc. (which is fine) if you don't have the AP Class 47 Sound pack though you will have to re-initialise the Rolling Start (see below). VP Class 47 pack here https://www.vulcanproductions.co.uk/diesel.html (about 90% down page)

ROLLING START
Scenario has a 20mph Rolling-Start and if you change the Player Loco this will need to be reset (otherwise Loco will be transparent in game):-.

  1. In the Scenario folder delete the files "StartingSave.bin" and "StartingSave.bin.MD5" to remove the old Rolling-Start.
  2. The scenario can now be run as-is with the new Player Loco but with a stationary start. To set a rolling start for new Player Loco do 3).
  3. Drive the scenario - Set up lights etc. - Pull away and get up to around 20mph - Close the throttle - Press CTRL-F2 which will save the new rolling start - Press ESC and RESTART and it should restart with the new configuration.

HISTORICAL-NOTE
The Welbeck Colliery (Notts coalfield) to Northfleet (Gravesend) Cement Works MGR's were a regular occurance in the 1970/80s and by this time traversed West London via Cricklewood - Acton - Kew to gain access to Clapham Junction and the South London Line for Lewisham and Dartford - A Class 47 fitted with slow-speed-control for unloading at Northfleet was attached at Cricklewood and would also help pilot the train across the gradients of South London - Superceded by Class 56's in 1979

RUNNING-NOTES
Be aware of falling gradients from Acton Wells Jn down to Kew Bridge Jn with a loaded train on this little used path - Route knowledge is ALL
Acton Wells Jn down to Acton Central - max 1:82
Acton Central down to South Acton - max 1:75
South Acton down to Kew East Jn - max 1:104
