Note: If Conductor Mode Control Guide (in Settings - HUD & Gameplay) is set to Off it may cause issues, if guard mode doesn't work properly try setting it to On

Some modifications and fixes to the Classs 801, including adding guard mode (TSW 5 only), letting it couple to other trains with Scharfenberg couplers, etc.

There are two versions of the mod:

Replacement Version
MJKCP_CouplerMod_Class801_Replacement.pak - Replaces the default Class 801.

• Added guard mode (TSW 5 only).
• Changed the passenger doors so by default they can't be opened while the train is moving.
• This can be disabled by using the Traction Interlock switch behind the driver's seat. You can also use the emergency release handles to unlock doors.
• Added ability to control saloon lights, using the saloon lights hotkey (default is i).
• Added ability to isolate brakes (look for the valves marked BCIC on the outside of the train).
• Added ability to refuel the MeS coach, and added a fuel level display.
• Fixed the back right close door buttons, that were broken.
• Fixed the Door Close/Interlock button on the right side guard panels, that were broken.
• Fixed the collision on the Fuse Cabinet so some fuses can be toggled (I don't think they do anything though).
• Can couple to other trains with Scharfenberg couplers.

Variant Version
MJKCP_CouplerMod_Class801.pak - Variant of the Class 801, appears as 'LNER Class 801/1 (Scharfenberg)'.

• Can couple to other trains with Scharfenberg couplers.
• This version hasn't been updated with any of the other above changes yet.

Notes

• You don't need both versions, pick which one you prefer.
• For the replacement version, the RVD, RVM and RVV files of the Class 801 are modified, so the mod may not be compatible with any other mods that modify the same files.
• If you couple it to something that isn't designed to work in multiple with it, you may need to turn on the master key and release the brakes on the other train.

Bugs

• Sometimes when starting a service in the Class 801 it thinks the doors are unlocked and it will be traction locked, opening and closing the doors should fix this.
• Formation designer doesn't detect that the replacement version should be able to couple to other trains.
