A mod that alters the existing Class 43 HST from Great Western Express and Midland Main Line as follows:

Class 43 Power Car

• (Both) Lets you access the side corridors and rear guard compartment, either through the rear doors or the door in the back of the cab.
• (Both) Adds ability to unlock the rear coupler.
• (GWR) Lets you open the cab doors while moving.

Mk3 Coach

• (GWR) Lets you go through the sealed doors at the ends of the TFD and TGS coaches.
• (EMT) Make emergency brake handles on each coach functional. Lets you access the guard compartment on the TGS coach. The guard compartment has had two seats and a light switch.
• (Both) Adds ability to unlock the couplers.

Changelog

• 2024/07/12 - TGS guard compartment should be less buggy at high speed. Added emergency brakes to each coach.
• 2024/07/12 - Added interactible seats (the seat is not animated though), light switch, emergency brake to the EMT TGS guard compartment.
• 2024/07/05 - Added EMT version.
• 2024/07/04 - Added ability to go through the sealed doors on the end of the TFD and TGS Mk3 coaches, and added ability to uncouple them.

Bugs

• If you uncouple a Class 43 from Mk3 coaches or another Class 43, the gangway will be bugged and stretch infinitely. Not sure how to stop this from happening. If you couple a Class 43 to non Mk3 coaches, or couple something that isn't a Class 43 to Mk3 coaches, there should be no issues.

• The camera tilts if standing in the EMT Mk3 TGS guard compartment while the train is moving. Sitting down should stop this.

• The seat prompts in the EMT Mk3 TGS sometimes don't work on already existing formations. A workaround is to sit in one of the passenger seats, and then press the left or right key to change cameras.

Notes

• Won't be compatible with any game updates or mods that modify the RVD, RVM or RVV files for the Class 43 or Mk3 coaches, since one mod will overwrite the other.

• The doors are not animated and don't open. When you interact with them you will just teleport through the door.

• I haven't changed any models, textures or animations, it just lets you access the existing interior. Since DTG didn't plan on people going in there, the interior is basic and low quality.

Put whichever .pak files you want in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 4\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC' folder (modify path as appropriate)
