Does the issue still persist? I had overlooked this answer. If you have all DLC required for the 218 layer, then it should be showing the services.

The version you played only had 3 hours implemented with full services. Aachen depot fills up in the evening/night and gets empty during the day. There is no track unused that could be filled with static rolling stock. As for Cologne, that will be considered if all the dynamic parts of the timetable are implemented.

The BR 628 gives me trouble as well but that is probably not an issue with the timetable but the handling of the loco.

Habe keine Ahnung, wie die 101 bei dem YouTuber da hin kommt. Substitution ist meines Wissens nach nicht eingestellt.

Vielleicht hat er die mit dem Sandbox-Feature gespawned und die 103 entfernt. Mit der künftigen Version 3 wird die Substitution dann auch offiziell mit der 101 funktionieren.

Die 101 ist nicht spielbar. Das sind nur AI-only Services. Der richtige Timetable hat was mit 2023 im Namen. Die fehlende 628 klingt für mich danach, dass du einen der Dovetail-Timetables ausgewählt hast, wenn die 101 zur Auswahl steht.

Habe die Version 3 in Erarbeitung und dort ist die 101 dann offiziell als Substitution verfügbar für einen speziellen Service.

I have now given formations a better name. Some of the selections appear to be entire formations so the Dosto+146 formation appears under both 146 and Dosto selection. The actual services with an actual 146 as driving loco is the same between KWG and DRA.

The full RB 20 (in a future version 3) will bring 2 trains per hour in each direction between Stolberg and Aachen, as well as one train per hour in each direction between Düren and Langerwehe (both playable). Moreover, it will add AI only services in Langerwehe.

Further additions in future versions:

• remaining RB 38 AI-only traffic in Horrem
• handful of depot moves for RE 7 and RB 48
• remaining AI-only traffic around Cologne from the lines RE 7, RB 48, RB 26, RB 27, RB 24, RE 22
• potentially depot moves for RE 18 in Aachen (otherwise those are AI-only)
• remaining AI-only traffic around Aachen from the lines RB 33

And probably the biggest new addition for the next version 3:

• full scenario-like services with BR 218, 204, containers and n-waggons (involves plenty of coupling/uncoupling)
• if I can get it to work, it will also involve a turntable in Cologne depot

Once I have that, I could add it for AI services around Cologne. The timetable allows for these services that I didn't create yet, because they use a cab car in reality. Something we didn't have so far.

But explicit content for driving the expert 101? I can't commit to that at this point. Will be some time before I get that DLC anyway.

I don't have the addon yet. But I added substitution in my dev version. Will have to see if that works as intended. I don't want to see BR 612 or even EMUs subbing in as that would be completely out of character. Couldn't find a setting to limit substitution to traction type or exclude specific sets.

As for 101: I added substitution to the 103 service in my dev version so that the 101 should be able to sub in. But will have to test that. And as mentioned previously, once I have the expert loco (will take a while), I will add AI services around Cologne that actually drove on the modelled day.

I won't add a significant amount of IC services to the route that simply do not drive there. Next to realism, this is simply due to the route already bursting to the seams. It is very difficult to add further trains along the entire route without blocking another train in the process.

Substitution for 101 works. 612 does not sub in which is good. Maybe I will add 1-2 special IC services with the expert 101 and coaches but no promises.

Version 4 adds 4 AI-only EC services that are actually operated by SBB stock. Due to SBB's licensing changes, we won't see SBB stock so I decided to implement them with the existing BR 101 and IC coaches. As they don't have a cab car in reality, the normal BR 101 is used.

With the expert 101 I will add the remaining IC/EC services Cologne that include even two depot moves. Furthermore, I'm entertaining the idea of utilising the expert 101 and coaches for the Eurostar services between Cologne and Aachen. The alt history goes like this: on the modelled day, the Eurostar services didn't operate and the DB filled the vacancy on the German part with the IC coaches.

Speed-wise the schedule should work as the Eurostar trains can only reach up to 200 kph in Germany.

Will stick to the official rolling stock.

Perhaps the DRA versions can be used. Those should be newer than Köln Aachen and were playable.

I have found a temporary fix, if you spawn on foot at Koln at 7:40 the ice has left the station

Ich weiß wirklich nicht, was ich da groß machen kann. Habe die dezente Hoffnung, dass mit dem offiziellen Cooking im Editor (wann auch immer das kommt) die Probleme weniger werden.

Da es aber bei mir klappt, kann ich das schlecht analysieren.

ja ich bin ja nicht der einzige mit dem problem...da ist grundsätzlich irgendwas faul, denn mit version 5, läd das spiel nichtmal mehr die london-faversham route und zerstört sie sogar, das ich sie neu installieren musste.es ist wirklich der einzige fahrplan, der nicht funktioniert. der für bremen-oldenburg geht, alle für die englischen strecken auch und ich weiss ganz genau, welche mods mit welchen fahrplänen ich aktivieren muss, hab schon viel erfahrung gemacht und daher ärgert es mich sehr, das ausgerechnet deiner garnicht klappt, keine einzige version.der allererste, der ging aber nach dem update wurde er nicht mehr angezeigt also nach deinem ersten update, nicht das von tsw4. schau bitte nochmal genau nach nach den grundlegenden dingen bitte.

Nur damit wir kein Missverständnis haben: wenn der erste ging, warum sollte die Datei jetzt nicht mehr gehen? Die neuen Versionen sind als Ersatz der vorherigen zu verstehen, dürfen also nicht gleichzeitig im DLC-Folder liegen.

Nutze den Cooking Fix von trainsimcz und erstelle anschließend die pak-Datei. In der sollten dann nur Inhalte von dem Timetable drin sein und keine von DLCs. Ich kann SEHS auch problemlos auswählen und starten. Bei den Layern ist als Zielsystem PC und Xbox S ausgewählt, wobei ja ohnehin nur PC funktioniert ohne offiziellen Support von DTG.

Bei Version 3 hatte ich versehentlich den Metadata-Ordner mit drinnen, deswegen war die Datei größer. Bei Version 5 war das nicht der Fall, also kann das auch nicht die Ursache sein.

Offensichtlich funktioniert es bei mir dahingehend, dass ich das Spiel starten kann und dann Köln-Aachen auswähle und dort mein Timetable erscheint. Und bei anderen funktioniert es ja auch. Habe daher gerade echt keinen Anhaltspunkt, woran es liegen könnte. Würde das Problem ja gerne beheben, weiß halt nur wirklich nicht, wo der Fehler ist.

Vielleicht ist es irgendeine blöde Kombination von DLC, die dann ausgerechnet bei meinem Timetable zu Problemen führt. Keine Ahnung.

ich hab nochmal alle mods entfernt und nur deinen fahrplanmod versucht.er wird einfach nicht dagestellt im auswahlmenu wenn ich köln-aachen wähle.ich versteh es einfach nicht, was da faul ist.es ist wirklich der einzige mod, der bei mir nicht geht.

Es fehlt eine uplugin-Datei in der pak-Datei und in der ersten war die vermutlich drinnen. Die spannende Frage ist nun, wieso es bei mir und anderen dann überhaupt klappt, wenn eine vom upluginmanifest referenzierte Datei gar nicht existiert.

Bei der Version 8 ist die Datei wieder drin und hoffentlich klappt es dann auch wieder bei allen, die bislang Probleme damit hatten.

No, we don't have sleeper cars in the game and I won't create a service that would have no chance of running like that in real life.

All the BR 442 services are not as in reality but their real-life services could have been provided by them. But a sleeper train needs sleeper cars to work.

Then how are locomotive hauled, single system trains are eligible to substitute for Eurostar, but barely distinguishable non-sleeper cars (1st class even have compartments) can't substitute for a sleeper?

The story there is that the Eurostar services don't drive and in their stead actual IC services are run using the Eurostar train numbers.

That's also why those replacement trains do not continue to Brussels as they won't be able to in reality due to being single-system.

Hagen is not on the map. Will have to verify the number of services. There are no freight trains passing through Köln Hbf.

Sorry I meant Aachen. Recorded at Koln between 3 and 6pm yesterday, there was an insane amount of traffic. As far as I could tell, everything seems to work as it should.
Awesome job on the timetable, I cant imagine how much work it took.
I hope you'll do the same for other routes sometime in the future.

No problem at all. It's a great compilation. And the service count is accurate for version 7 and 8. Without the expert loco you likely won't have all of these total playable services.

If I knew what is was, I would fix it. Will take a look what the differences are with respect to metadata regarding the mentioned Niddertal timetable.

Version 8 apparently fixes the issue.

Genau, nur die neueste Version in den DLC-Folder packen. Die älteren Versionen dürfen nicht vorhanden sein. Keine Ahnung was passiert, wenn zwei der paks gleichzeitig vorhanden sind.

Egal was ich versuche, alle Gleichnamigen einzeln oder mehrfach, Version 4-7 einzeln, wird vom Spiel ignoriert. Sieht man auch daran, dass ich die .pak Dateien ändern kann währen TSW läuft.

Welchen Service hast du gestartet? Oder bist du per Fuß gestartet? Das würde beim Debugging helfen.

Im anschluss hab ich per Sandbox nen 628 Gespawnt Mit dem ich dann nach Stolberg gefahren Gefahren bin und wieder zurück nach aachen wo ich den 628 auf ein nicht genutzes gleis abgestellt habe im anschluss fuhr ich den 12:13 RE9 nach Köln
von dort aus habe ich dann den 13:13 RE9006 nach Düren gefahren und dann ist es mir aufgefallen als ich hinter 6 Zügen stand danach hatte ich ein weiteres problem das mein ankunftsgleis in Düren von der S-Bahn Blockiert war ich Aber das Signal trotzdem Bekam zur weiterfahrt und dort habe ich dann sowohl mich als auch die S-Bahn Blockiert

Kann sein, dass das nicht benutzte Gleis zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt doch benutzt ist und dann sich Züge stauen. Der RE 9 fährt ins Depot in Aachen und der RE 1 fährt auch auf ein Abstellgleis zwischen Fahrten.

Das Einfahrtsignal nach Gleis 5 in Düren sollte nicht auf grün gehen können, wenn da eine S-Bahn steht. Es kann aber durchaus sein, dass man etwas warten muss. Allerdings ist der Fahrplan zu dem Zeitpunkt auch so aus den Fugen, dass ich das nicht wirklich prüfen kann.

Bei der Einfahrt in Düren habe ich es so gelöst, dass man auf ein rotes Einfahrsignal zufährt und abhängig davon, ob man selber oder die S-Bahn schneller ist, muss man dann ggf. warten. Daher kann ich da dann auch nicht eine feste Abhängigkeit zu einem konkreten Service einstellen. In deinem Fall warst du vermutlich auch sehr verspätet.

On this comments section, there are at least two people with the same symptoms. But so far we haven't been able to pinpoint the cause of that.

There are also people for whom it does work, including me. We all have the same game and the same pak file of my mod. The only difference might be locally installed DLCs and potentially if the editor is installed on the machine as well. I'm kind of hoping that the official cooking fix of DTG will fix it at least for TSW 5.

Once I'm back at my gaming computer, I will take a look at some of the mentioned timetables here that work for the affected people. Hopefully, I can detect some significant differences that lead to the cause.

Okay thanks for the reply. I have the editor installed on my machine. I will try to remove it and try. I showed your timetable to a few friends, they installed it without any problem but they have not the editor installed on their PC.

Es fehlte eine uplugin-Datei in der pak-Datei. Auf die wird referenziert. Mich verwundert nun eher, wieso es bei mir überhaupt geklappt hat vorher.

Wenn ich so darüber nachdenke, vielleicht war es auch die SteamAppId, welche in der dlc-Datei steht. Da hatte ich die SteamAppId drinnen, welche auch bei den DLC-paks von Dovetail stand. Womöglich war die aber nicht identisch für alle TSW 4 Editionen und dann hat es bei denen mit der identischen Id geklappt und bei denen mit einer anderen nicht.

Habe da jetzt 0 drin stehen wie bei der Datei vom modernen Fahrplan für die Niddertalbahn.

Dritte Änderung ist die Ergänzung von Inhalten im Engine-Ordner, die ich so von dem Niddertalbahn-Fahrplan übernommen habe.

Intend to use the Frankfurt-Fulda DoStos for the TSW 5-only version of the timetable. Maybe it will work if they are used in a service? Will have to try that.

Ich nutze da aktuell die DRA-Versionen. Die haben nur leider das Problem, dass on-map Ziele nicht automatisch angezeigt werden. Sie sind aber manuell auswählbar.

Die 146 von DRA zeigt Ziele offenbar gar nicht an, war aber vom Gameplay ansonsten die beste Variante.

Darüber hinaus würde mich interessieren, welche FIS-Anzeigen konkret nichts anzeigen.

Die verwendete 425 unterstützt noch nicht das neue PIS-System. Die 146 von DRA zeigt keine Ziele an. Die 442 und DRA-DoStos zeigen nur off-world Destinations automatisch an, die on-map Destinations sind aber auswählbar.

Bei den 628 kommt das PIS-System nicht mit Umlauten klar und bricht daher beim ö von Köln ab. Deswegen steht dort nur ein K.

Ist insoweit alles erwartbar.

Bei der 423 weiß ich nicht was los ist und die schwarzen PIS-Anzeiger in Köln Hbf sehen auch falsch aus. Das passiert bei mir nicht.

Die PIS Displays und fehlenden Anzeigen an den 423 lagen tatsächlich an der Mod TSW4/5 ToDv4 for all routes und der Rest erklärt sich dann von selbst :) Danke dir.

The latest version is sufficient. I will probably remove the older ones to reduce confusion.

Version 9 should still work in TSW 4. Version 10 maybe as well but the ICE T and DoSto layers won't be available as that content is only in TSW 5.

Actually, I've already created the services but had to remove the formations again. It just wouldn't calculate through. I did it like every other layer but the coaches and loco didn't even appear, let alone run the services.

I believe the rest is done so I will take another look into it. But if it doesn't work then I will wait for the TSW 5 editor working properly. Hopefully, it works then.

From version 14 onwards the Flixtrain is available.

Habe die Verbindung mal gefahren und bin bei mir bis nach Köln gekommen und der ICE 153 koppelt dann auch an hinten. Um 12:27 fahren sie dann gemeinsam raus.

Aber ab Horrem fährt man hinter einem Güterzug her.

Ja den Güterzug hab ich auf der Karte gesehen, aber obwohl dann alles frei ist schalten die Signale nicht um.

Ich werde mal weiter schauen, vielleicht habe ich ein generelles Problem bei allen Zügen.

Ich hab bei einigen Zügen irgendwie das Problem dass die Signale nicht weiterschalten obwohl ich direkt bis ans Signal fahre.
Macht trotzdem Spaß den Fahrplan zu fahren .

I'm not sure I completely understand you. The last change was simply to fix an oversight. I updated the installation instructions to not only refer to TSW 4 and added clarification that only one pak file is to be used. I didn't change anything with respect to the uploaded files.

I will not add dependencies on other mods. As for the Talent 2 usage: I'm using the VVO one from DRA because that's the newest one available with working PIS.

The one that came with Cologne-Aachen is technically very old and the destination displays don't work on them with the destinations of the respective services.

I don't quite understand what you mean. There are a couple depot moves for ICE 1 (BR 401) services. But beyond that, there is no ICE 1 traffic on the route.

That's kind of a steep order. There are fundamentally these areas:

1. knowledge of the route
   1 a) in real life: what services drive there?, how do they operate?, anything peculiar?
   1 b) in editor: fauxpas in route building (e.g. inaccessible yards)
2. proficiency with the Unreal editor (particularly the blueprints)
3. knowledge of packaging for TSW
4. rigorous process to translate 1) with the help of 2) and 3) into a playable result

There are some tutorials by DTG on how to do a scenario and some explanations how they build up an Excel sheet with all the services to operate on the route.

That last part is a lot of upfront research work. Because I wanted to be particularly exact, I measured the portal-to-platform times in Köln Hbf for every consist used in the schedule. That way, I could make sure they would arrive precisely on time.

I also measured out the depot tracks so I roughly knew what track could be used for what type of service.

In the case of Cologne Hbf and depot, I created a complete table each showing exactly when they are occupied. For the depot, I kept to hours but in the case of Hbf, I listed every train on platforms 1-9 plus all non S-bahn trains on 10 and 11. Later, I did the same for Aachen Hbf. This allowed me to identify empty spots that could fit extra services which weren't part of the official service roster of the day.

Another trick: I built out vertically first. So I started with one service of each type to get the timings correct, then of one hour, then of 3. This allowed me to iron out initial errors before having to fix it across the board.

But I also learned some things too late and did a do-over of all services as a result.

Sometimes you will learn that you simply can't do something you want to do because a loco or route is set up in the wrong way.

The SKA version is a very old implementation without support for the current PIS system in TSW. For me, it was more important to have trains with accurate destination boards.

Regarding the livery: there is currently no version of the talent 2 in the game that actually runs the route. The talent 2 on the RE 9 have specific RSX livery. The RRX lines are Desiro HC in real life which isn't in the game at all.

So in the end it is a tradeoff and I opted for more gameplay value.

So yes the re1 Service is RRX but i think a talent 2 is not much realistic so you can better use dostos for this that looks i think better.

The acceleration and deceleration behaviour of the Talent 2 is closer to a Desiro HC than the DoStos. Therefore, I presume that the DoStos would have trouble filling in the timetable of the RRX.

If you don't have the BR101 Expert, the services that use the expert coaches and cab car won't be available.

The 442 from Cologne Aachen do not have working PIS. More specifically, they don't fetch the data from the route and timetable. That is why I'm using the one from Dresden-Riesa.

In what direction and where are the RE 1 trains driving that don't have a destination?

What time is it at Cologne Hbf and what trains are on platform 6 that don't show up on the station boards?

Moin so with me it is the trains of the RE 1 to Aachen that come from Aachen and go to Hamm have the destinations on platform 6 it was 13:30 on the map so with the button 9 but trains were displayed on the track.

Would it be possible with the THA tasks that you stop in Cologne in front of the entry signal and then drive into the station and not in the middle of the turnouts in front of a blocking signal?

Regarding the THA services, no that's not possible, unfortunately. The signaller can only bypass one signal and if the train stops in front of the entry signal, then the shunting signal will never go into the Sh1 state and the train is stuck. That's why I had to design it this way, although it is not prototypical.

Regarding the RE 1 services, I'm sorry but that paragraph is very hard to decipher.

According to schedule, the ICE 314 to Bruxelles Midi should be announced on the platform 6 at that time. Can check if it is on my end.

As for your repaints, those are not specifically included or not included. If you have repaints of trains included in the timetable, there is a chance that they appear. I haven't seen anything in the timetable to control that.

It can appear. I don't know the likelihood. As far as I know there is no way to control what services will have the repaint and which won't.

The TGV that we do have does not travel that route and is not equipped for it. Therefore, I won't be adding it. In addition, with the technology as it is, you cannot replace loco-coach trains with fixed consist ones like an ICE.

The BR 101 can only be replaced by other locos and EMUs only by EMUs.

I don't quite understand if the last sentence is intended as a question. With substitution, you can personally drive every RB 20 service with the BR 642. But the AI will never use one. I tried it with a higher probability but the simulation runs didn't work in that case. I don't know if that only happens during substitution of the BR 642 or if it is a general problem of that EMU.
Have now been able to check the 13:30 time on my machine and I can see ICE 314 on platform 6.

Regarding my last question with the 642 series, would it not be possible to replace the Br 628s with the 642s, as 643s run there in reality and the 642s look better on the RB 20 lines in my opinion?.

I simulated the timetable with this change and the services with the 642 do not simulate. In this respect, they behave similar to the Flixtrain services. I don't know what the issue is but as long as there is this issue, I am not able to create services with the 642.

I managed to change some services to 642 on RB 20 west. Others continued to make problems. Plus, I use 642 for the RB 20 services terminating in Langerwehe. So you should see some 642 when the next version of the timetable is released.

Wasn't aware of this. There is no conscious decision to include medals only for some services. So it's probably some weird coincidence in some services that leads to the mentioned behaviour.

I investigated this further and there is a setting for each service with these thresholds. Usually, they are filled during simulation but that doesn't happen for a number of services. I don't know why it doesn't work. Manually editing doesn't seem to be a great idea with over 900 playable services.

You should be able to use quite a few with substitution. But I can check the settings. Maybe I have forgotten to allow it for these formations.

What I won't do is utilize other locos directly in the timetable for the DoStos.

Gleiches gilt für die anderen Stand-in Relationen: Talent 1, Regio Shuttle, Desiro ML, National Express Talent 2, ICE 3 neo.

Für das Fahrerlebnis können die RE 9 DoSto Fahrten ja durch Substitution auch mit anderen Loks als der 146 gefahren werden. Das werde ich mir nochmal ansehen, dass dort auch die 111 auswählbar ist.

Aber an sich ist es spielbar? Aus irgendwelchen Gründen ist die Außenkamera bei der Fahrt ab Aachen beim Endwagen statt bei der Lok. Konnte aber dennoch die Fahrt erfolgreich durchführen.

Das wird an den erlaubten geographischen Regionen bei Substitution liegen. Da ich die Route selber aber noch nicht habe, kann ich das nicht selber nachschauen und entsprechend einstellen. Da bräuchte ich dann die Info, was in der Rail Vehicle Definition der Lok steht.

Mit Version 15 klappt es jetzt.

Ich hatte das bei einer Fahrt ab Aachen getestet. Ab dem zweiten Halt kommt keine Aufgabe mehr für das Pfeifen, aber man muss nach dem Erreichen der Abfahrtszeit einmal mit der Leertaste pfeifen damit die Türen zugehen.

It only works with the DoSto RE 9 services. That's because only the FTF DoSto have this feature added. The Talent rolling stock does not have that feature.

As for looking at them from the outside (aka AI traffic): I find the matching logo from New Journey Expansion quite nice. The interior obviously is still from Munich.

Could you make it selectable that you either only the Br 423 from Cologne or only the series 423 from Frankfurt fulda and possibly a mix of both make that is also so in real life

You should strictly only need the route itself. But that would limit you quite radically to only the ICE 3M services. If some DLC are missing, only the layers requiring these DLC would be missing. The remaining layers should work.

Can you provide the affected train number of the service? Ideally the train numbers of the affected AI services in particular. The minimap of TSW 5 provides the service information if you hover over the trains. That would help immensely to track down the situation and analyse it.

I'm currently not at the computer with the game. Therefore, I can only offer general advice:
Have you asked the signaller? Is there an indication on the minimap as to why the signal might be red? What signal exactly is red? The signals have identifiers and that can help, together with the exact service identifier, to track down potential issues.

Yes, and this part of the scenario concerns the hooking up of the wagons at Düren.

I can use particular formations in the timetable itself. Through substitution other compatible formations could appear. But you cannot make the substituted vehicles of AI services selectable. You can only select the formation for the played service.

The rest of the services can be 100% of the configured formation or a mix of the configured formation and any possible substitution.

If I enable substitution, I don't have exact control over the possible substitutions. So other 4 car formations could appear as well (even non 423). The only alternative would be to make particular services with another formation. Then this other formation (and hence DLC) would also be required for that layer. Or I split the layer and move the services with the 423 of FTF to another layer.

At this point, I tend towards not doing that. On top of that, I've never seen a Frankfurt S-Bahn in Cologne. They do have 422 from the S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr on the line S6, though.

Is there some freight train at Köln Ehrenfeld next to platform 4 at the time? The mentioned freight train does not have any stop instruction at the shown place so the next block must have been occupied.

Did you start ICE 758 from the menu or did you enter during free roam?

I started the ICE 758 from menu and directly at the start the freight train is already further along so no such blockage can occur.

Once version 17 is available (I just uploaded), please try again. I broke the German language with that version and maybe others as well.

On a separate note, I ran into a new issue with another service:

Service: RE 9 (10909) Au (Sieg) (FlixTrain)

After stopping at Aachen Hbf, I get stuck at a red signal just east of the station.

Nothing immediately seems to be blocking me based on the map, but the signal never clears.

I'll report more details if I can pinpoint the cause, but just wanted to flag it while it's fresh. Thanks again for all your work—really enjoying the variety in this timetable!

Quick update on the ICE 758 Aachen issue:

I just started the service again from the main menu (not free roam) using version 17, and unfortunately, the problem still persists.

Right at the start of the service, if I immediately check the map, the Freight 47029 Spiez service is already in position—stuck in the exact same spot as before—with its status still showing "Stop Pending Dependency." So the issue can still be replicated in the same way it was in version 16.

Also wanted to follow up on the ICE 758 issue again after some further testing:

After starting the service from the menu and seeing that Freight 47029 Spiez was still stuck with a “Stop Pending Dependency” status, I deleted that service directly from the map view. That allowed me to proceed normally, following behind the RE 1 (26822) Aachen Hbf service (screenshot 1).

However, after making a stop at Düren (screenshot 2), the signal immediately after the platform never cleared (screenshot 3). I waited for over 30 minutes, tried requesting dispatcher approval multiple times (all denied), and eventually gave up.

Just to test further, I let the AI take over the service to see if anything would change—but even under AI control, the train remained stuck at the red signal. What's worse is it now displays the same “Stop Pending Dependency” status that the previously stuck freight train had. So it seems like whatever logic issue is affecting the freight train is now cascading into other services too.

Since the last couple of updates, it feels like a lot of services on this timetable are unfortunately broken in one way or another—especially with trains getting permanently stuck or not being released by signals.

I use dependencies in a number of services in this way:

• ICE stop at Düren with dispatch beyond
• go via Aachen approach with dependency on another train

The idea here is that you won't see an artificial red signal but the dispatcher also does not block this other train which needs to cross the track ahead.

But the mentioned example of the ICE 758 does not have any dependencies for the freight train at that place. It shouldn't wait for a dependency. I don't know why it happens for you.

The RE 9 problem could be dependencies. I can look up which dependency it has and then you could tell me if you have the required DLC. In the worst case, any service that depends on services from layers that are not active for you, won't work.

Exactly this worst case is happening. I won't remove those dependencies because they serve a purpose of improved play experience (not having artificial red lights). Unfortunately, this means that layers are not independent and some layers are required for a working timetable. I'm in the process of identifying exactly which layers are absolutely necessary. Very clear is that the RB 20 West/East and RB 38 layers are crucial and have many outgoing dependencies. This means: the DLC Niddertalbahn and Maintalbahn are somewhat necessary to play the timetable without problems.

What services did you try to start? And what is the language TSW uses?
Background for the language question: I have added a localized version of the timetable for German and provided German descriptions for the 6 new ICE services. This should not have any impact on the playability, however.

I use German and I'll have to edit this after checking it out again in TSW. Just got back from a session and by now it needs almost 5 minutes to boot.

I can confirm the issues with version 16 and the German language version. I have recooked the timetable as version 17 and uploaded it here. It will probably take a while to be approved. With this version, I no longer get the errors you mentioned.

The timetable is stuck at 0:00. It doesn't matter what time is actually. All trains in simulation will have delay and won't drive anymore.

Then try version 17. I apparently broke the German language with version 16.

They represent an updated version each. I already cleaned up a few and removed version 16 which had problems with the German language. Sometimes I made changes with respect to formations being used and hence DLC required.

I can look into removing some more where no DLC requirements were changed.

The Talent 2 of Dresden-Riesa is the newest one available. The one from the route does not support the dynamic destination system. And for me it was quite important to have working destination boards on the trains.

The Talent 2 of Kassel-Würzburg is not playable properly (sounds missing) as it was apparently optimized for AI-only use.

The layers have required DLC configured and I have verified that you can find the timetable so long as you have the route. But any layer requiring DLC you do not own, won't be available.

Some investigation unearthed some problems, however: the layers for RB 20 and RB 38 are somewhat a MUST for this timetable. I have many dependencies from those layers to other layers. These dependencies, unfortunately, still apply if the origin layer is missing. Therefore, Niddertalbahn and Maintalbahn are required to not get stuck in front of red signals.

There are other dependencies between layers but I don't know them all by heart.

That and I modified the requirements to clarify the need for both Niddertalbahn and Maintalbahn necessary for the RB 20.
