This package includes 201 different Announcement Sets for the Long Island Railroad (Updated Version) for the M3A, M7A and M9A spoken by an excellent online text to speech site.
“Ready to Play” means no fiddling around with a bunch of unsorted MP3s, but instead for users of Metrospeak 201 folders with each folder containing the MP3 files for one service in the correct sequence and for Soundpad users also 201 different .SPL files.
Because of the amount of different services, I have included a detailed manual (English and German) and a timetable number list with the appropriate announcement numbers.
I have checked the announcements, but if you still find an error, please send me a comment so that I can fix it.
PS: Just in case that they read this, greetings to the train enthusiasts from Brooklyn I met last year in France when driving with the “Train Jaune”!

Installation Instructions
FOR Soundpad users:
Unzip the SOUNDPAD_FILES.Zip to your HDD c:, so that the path of the MP3s is:
C:\SOUNDPADFILES\LIRRCommuter\MP3
If you want to use a different drive, read the manual (Changing the location of the MP3 folder) .
If you use the Elgato Streamdeck and want to link the announcements to the door open/close keys,
also download FOR STREAMDECK ONLY.ZIP
***For Metro Speak users: ***
Copy the MP3 folder anywhere you like, then load the content of the desired folder into Metro Speak

I just ran an m9 timetable from Long Beach to Atlantic Ave and I must say this fills the gap in regard to submersion. Thank you for all the work put into this announcement pack.
Thanks ! I made my first announcement for myself, then thought, why not share it and was overwhelmed by the number of downloads. The LIRR was the most work so far, but in the meantime I have some more routine and found many ways to make that work easier, e.g. instead of creating 201 folders by hand I found a way to create them in 5 minutes. I can say, Excel is my best workmate !
I'm not quite sure, which route to do next, maybe a scottish one because I recently found an excellent text to speech generator for scottish only. Also depends if I can find enough material of original announcements on YT as an ecxample because I want my announcements sound authentic.

I need some help with this? I downloaded the Metro speak app, I put all the stops in correctly and they all play if I hit the play button but the problem is when I'm in TSW5 and I have the program open on the other screen It cannot trigger any of the buttons even with the hotkeys, because the focus is on the main screen running the game, if I click off of the game and click back on to the Metro speak window, then I can trigger the play button and the next selection button. So I'm a little bit confused. also is there a way for this to play by themselves as the train is in each station? I apologize if this is a dumb question in advance.

Praying would surely work if I was HE, but I‘m not sure now what to do next. Depends if I find enough material on YT so that the announcements are somehow authentic and not “invented“ by myself.
