Mannheim - Kaiserslautern Route Map Patch

With the release of Mannheim - Kaiserslautern, DTG introduced a new method for designing the route map collectables found across the route by using a Google Maps style astheatic from the region as a background and overlaying a simple map of the route onto it. While a nice idea, the final effect is not convincing and looks very strange with the locations not matching between the background and route map, leaving a lot to be desired.

This mod fully replaces the textures for the route map collectables on the route with a real life S-Bahn Rhein Neckar route network map from the year 2015 adjusted to fit the asset size and dimensions found on the route to enhance the experience by bringing a fully realistic map to the route.

A comprehensive list of changes can be found below:

• Replaces the textures for all route map collectables with a real life S-Bahn Rhein Neckar network map
  • Map set in 2015 to best match the service pattern in-game
  • Adjusted to fit the assets by moving logos into corners for a more convincing look

Installation Instructions

Download the .pak file and move it into TSW's DLC directory, this is usually located here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World X\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC"
