This mod replaces the default Caltrain MP36PH-3C horn with a higher quality horn. This horn is from Caltrain #923, and features the signature solenoid pop that is absent on the default horn for this locomotive.
Disclaimer: This horn is LOUD on the outside! Due to the poor audio mixing and occlusion that is present on this locomotive, I had to amplify the audio quite a bit so it would be audible from inside the cab with the windows closed.
Installation Instructions
This is pretty straightforward, from the zip file, just drag and drop the file named "TS2Prototype-MP36HornMod.pak" into your TSW 4 DLC folder, which is located in: Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 4\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC

Could you do the F40 horn too? It is very bland and has no doppler effect

This is amazing please make one for the cabcar, makes me actaully want to run this route again.
Tested on TSW4 and it does not work. Will cause the consist to not spawn. Any chance you could update this for TSW4? Now that there are Metrolink repaints for the MP36 and cars, it would be nice to use this horn with those on the Antelope Valley Line. Any chance for the cabcar to get a new horn/bell? The bell especially since the DTG one is just the exterior bell inside the cab but quieter. Doesn't have that classic interior bell sound the Bombardier cabcars are known for. Thanks!!
