Amfleet I Enhancement Pack

Upon its formation in 1971, Amtrak was handed down a mixed collection of rolling stock with which to operate its services. Mostly built in the 1950s, much of this fleet was rapidly approaching the end of its service life. In 1973, Amtrak turned to the Budd Company to provide new rolling stock for its short-distance corridor routes. Budd's answer was the Amfleet coach, essentially an unpowered Metroliner multiple unit car, which drew design cues from aircraft and other high-speed trains from around the world to provide passengers with jet-age comfort. By 1975, Amtrak had placed an order for nearly 500 new Amfleet coaches, intended to entirely replace inherited coaches on the Northeast Corridor and other short-haul routes around the country. The design would prove to be massively successful, lasting for over 50 years in service and providing the basis for a long-distance variant, which also continues in service.

This pack includes the following:

New paint schemes, covering 50 years of Amtrak's history
All-new lights and other bodyside equipment
New, highly detailed audio
Various parts and decals controlled by rail vehicle number
Adjusted physics to more closely represent the prototype

On the Amfleet Cafe phase IVb it doesn't have the northeast regional logo when I spawn into the game. like it'll show the northeast regional logo when in the consist editor but not in game

They are dont worry. You just have to go change it in the editor. They state how to do it in the manual.

Absolutely a great mod. One gripe so far, the bat file only works if you havent extracted the E60...pack.ap yet, I had to do it manually but not too bad. Also, how can you change between high plat and low plat without scripts, or are the scripts necessary?

the locomotive script must be edited for the platform level to work. e60 will be the first one with this implementation.

Great pack, thanks for all the effort. I have a question about the end lights on the last coach, after a certain distance the train passes they go off, and if you approach the coach they go on again. Is this some sort of anomaly in the design that can't be corrected?

It's a core TS bug that was introduced in the last update when they made changes to how lights are rendered. I don't think a patch for that update is forthcoming unfortunately, and I'm not entirely certain how to adjust the distance the lights cut out at, but I can definitely take a look at trying to fix it.

Thanks, I play TSC since the latest update so didn't notice it until recently. And in reverse if a train passes by and you move towards it close enough the lights turn on again. However I also noticed other carriages (NEC multilevel coach) with tail lights that don't have this issue.
A cut off at a much larger distance would be nice if possible.
TSC is an old horse with some quirks.
