So this started with me doing a little test to see whether I could add a single sign to the West Cornwall route using the Unofficial Editor, then it got a bit out of control :-)
This mod makes the following changes:
- Adds more trackside vegetation to the St Ives branch
- More hedges, fences and vegetation between Penzance and Redruth to avoid empty areas and open access to the track which is completely unrealistic in the UK.
- Whistle boards provided at a realistic distance from level crossings (Tees Valley Line required)
- A number of crossings have been improved to make them look more realistic, e.g. Trying to make the depicted automatic open crossing between Hayle and Camborne look more like the farm gate style crossing itwould have been in real life
- A couple of missing foot crossings have been added
- The missing gantries at Long Rock have been added (Tees Valley Line required)
- At the site of the disused Maraizon station I have added a building to depict the old station building and also placed the camping coaches that would have been there in the 90s (West Somerset required)
- The car stop markers have been changed to ones that are more plausible for the time period depicted
- All tree stumps have been removed - I found them odd
Requirements
Whistle boards and gantries come from Tees Valley, the camping coaches come from West Somerset. If you don't have these DLCs the rest will still work though.

Performance
Unlike texture swap mods this mod is actually adding large amounts of extra assets, therefore there is an impact on FPS. I have ran some performance tests and on my mid range system I saw a modest drop in FPS, for example when travelling from Lelant to Carbis Bay the minimum FPS dropped from 86 to 78. If you are already struggling to attain the desired FPS on this route this mod may not be advised.
West Cornwall Local Enhancement Pack
This mod works with the West Cornwall Local Enhancement Pack by SprattyHeath, not instead of, there is no problem with having both installed, I do this myself.

How long did it take you to do this? Did you end up having to edit some of the original assets or move them around? If so, did you use something like a hex editor or UAssetGUI for that? Just curious ^^
Whoever worried this is a joke as it was posted in April First, it is not. Can confirm Gantries in Long Rock actually appeared.
I also don't own WCL, but this is absolutely stunning! Thumbs up! Good job, would be interesting to see on other slow-ride routes like Cane Creek or Arosa (imagine proper forests there :D).

Yes, this mod changes different things and is designed to be used together with the West Cornwall Local Enhancement Pack, I use that mod as well myself. I meant to write that in the details above, will update.
This is truly sublime work, I'm very glad my mod also improves the experience of what is out of the box a very dull and boring looking route. You've done a cracking job here and is a total game changer!
Amazing work! Adds so much to the route, only thing I would love to see is more busy beaches otherwise cracking work! I hope more like this can be done for other routes also!

This is groundbreaking and a massive improvement. Really enjoying this. Very minor issue..I can no longer see people on the beach in summer. Could the beach be filled with umbrellas/people etc in the summer season? It would add to realism. In case you or any one else reading this is able to ...any chance of being able to turn off the DTG 'depth of field' effect and have some in game control of brightness and contrast?

What a fantastic addition! Transformed WCL. So many routes could do with this in places. TVL yards, NTP foliage closer to track, GWE clutter, SEHS High speed section and parts of Kent line. Great job!
is there a chance u could add the ikea to the new swiss route and do some added details on there
This updated version will not work with TSW3 correct? I ask because I have this for TSW2 & 3 "I don't expect it to work with TSW2" I installed it back in may of 2023
I don't know tbh, I don't have older versions of TSW installed any more. Try it and let me know, if people are still using older versions it would make sense for me to keep them up here as separate downloads if this isn't backwards compatible.
