Enhancements to GWE to make it look more like the 1970s. Update 24/06/2022: I have updated the mod to fix issues I've noticed arising from the recent GWE route update, you only need to download GWE70sStationImprovementsPart2.pak again.
The GWE70sStationImprovements.pak and GWE70sStationImprovementsPart2.pak files contains the following enhancements:
- Station name signage replaced with signs using the correct colours and font for the era
- Conspicuously modern colours on station doors, canopies, fences etc have been removed.
- Posters replaced with authentic BR posters from the era
- No smoking, keep off the line and CCTV signs replaced with more appropriate BR signs
- Updating of collectibles with more authentic versions for the era
- Removal of modern blue plastic barriers from stations
- Removal of CCTV cameras, ticket machines and any other modern platform clutter
- Any other modern signage I found such as at Acton Mainline has been replaced
- Era appropriate platform clutter added at Paddington (West Cornwall Local required)
- Modern platform announcements removed
The platform mod (GWE70sPlatform.pak), contains the following changes:
Paddington platforms completely retextured
Paddington station walls and roof darkened
Yellow lines removed from all platforms
Tactile edges removed from all platforms
The trackside mod (GWE70sTrackside.pak) consists of the following changes:
All signal lenses changed from LED to filament
Banner repeaters changed from LED to traditional style
TPWS grids removed
Graffiti removed
Modern buffer stops modified to better suit the era

Yes, he hasn't updated his mods yet, I'm being optimistic and hoping he does and have updated this ready. Installing these without the MrShiiba mods won't break anything but obviously you're missing quite a lot of things. If you really wanted to you could update most of them yourself by following these instructions: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/tool-convert-4-23-mods-to-4-26.43108/. However I think the blueprint mod that removes the OHLE isn't a simple conversion like the rest, so going to have to wait and hope the author figures it out.

Just downloaded this mod; certain parts of the Station Improvements pack are not showing up!
I am still seeing modern blue platform signs, lamp posts and items of platform machinery in blue colours, is there a fix for this problem?
I've redownloaded this mod twice, but with the same result each time!

Hello, this mod was originally designed to complement another mod that contained the BR era station signs, bad news: that mod seems to have permanently been removed, good news: now the OHLE removal mod has reappeared I'm going to update this mod to cover everything else.

This is great! Would it be possible to get just the clutter in a seperate pack for use on the modern day timetable without backdating the route!
Thanks but most of the clutter I've placed is not appropriate for a modern day setting, the mail trolleys I've placed around wouldn't have been seen after the 1990s and litter bins were removed in the 80s/90s due to security concerns.

Is it possible to remove the North Pole Depot buildings and replace with grass and weeds, please.

Unfortunately I don't think so, frustratingly I can't remove individual buildings, I can only remove that type of building altogether in a hacky way, so that would delete all of the depot buildings of that type all over the route.
In the unofficial editor we can now add things on top of what DTG put in but you can't edit the DTG original map.

Very nice Mod really enjoy it great work, but the OHLE is very disturbing and i can't find the mod to remove it anymore. Seems like it was deleted. Is there any other possible way to get rid of the OHLE?
