Simply put, this mod adds extra locomotives onto existing services, in some cases adding up to 5 more locomotives. This will make trains on Cajon Pass able to climb the route at a speed closer to the speed limit. While this isn't strictly required as trains can get over the pass under the normal timetable, this mod will make timetable services able to be completed in a much shorter time span (sometimes cutting an hour off a service from the base game).
Installation Instructions
Older Releases
TSW3:
Simply place the .pak file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 3\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC (note: not verified to work on anything other than the Steam release of TSW3)
TSW4:
Simply place the .pak file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 4\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC (note: not verified to work on anything other than the Steam release of TSW4)
Additional Comments
I've verified most of the timetable and journey mode for CJP but I can't be sure that all services will be completable. If you run into a service that gives any form of error please tell me in the comments with the name of the service and time of the route.
TSW4 users, this mod works again! Do note that until I next update this mod, the name of the pak will remain as "TSW3", this shouldn't affect anything.

Can you perhaps upload a separate mod with just the CJP tag to fix livery substitutions?
The aim of this mod was not to fix livery support, it was a side-effect of preparing the mod for the BNSF SD70ACe. I have no intention of changing the base formations as this mod's goal is to increase the number of engines on trains.
That's a shame. I wouldn't want unrealistic number of locomotives on CJP, but it would be great to have working CC liveries.
This mod doesn't add an unrealistic amount of engines to services. Most services only get an additional 3 engines, 2 extras on the front and 1 on the rear (or vice versa depending on the consist). There were two consists that had 5 locomotives added to the train, making the total amount of engines over said 60-car consist 8. 5 locomotives at the front, 3 on the rear. Looking at IRL photos you will notice that this isn't unrealistic at all.

I like the idea of your mod and will fer sure give it a go, thanks for making it. Has anyone (modders that is) tried to get a few aces (SD70ACe) to replace the two(2) SD40-2 Loco's and add two more.

Great mod!!! I do wonder can you make the train longer? for example atm manifest train limited to 56 consist long (including the engines), can you double it to let's say 100 consist long? Cheers.
Changing the length of formations causes the timetable mode to break unless I remake the timetable. So no I can't change the length of trains to be longer.
