Finally! The shininess of everything in TSW is such an eyesore. Will give Cajon Pass a go.
If you take request, would you perhaps mind doing Boston Sprinter?
I’ll be going through all the DLC I own. I have LIRR Sandpatch CRR and Boston Sprinter in terms of American DLC
my friend...you are doing an incredible job, congratulations and thanks!!!!
Thankyou Paulo. Glad youre enjoying them.
Awesome, the ground shine is really disturbing on TSW, thanks for your hard work.
This mod is causing some serious visual glitches on BPE
BostonMaterialV2 should resolve it
maybe a idea to add your user name to the mod files
it is a bit hard to keep track where everything is in the dlc folder
also maybe add time stamps on this page to see what is added
Yeah. Going forward. Cant really change the ones Ive released, I suspect it would cause confusion. However, for now, people can rename these mods however they see fit once downloaded.
I have noticed that this mod for Boston breaks the catenary pole textures. They end up all gray and textureless.
Thats probably a texture experiment snuck in the pack. Poles looked bright compared to the toned down surroundings. I made a quick texture to darken the ohle. I’ll fish it out when I get time.
Not only they are bright gray, but their textures are also missing their transparency. One of the catenarys uses 2D textures for the catenary arms, and parts of the texture is supposed to be transparent, but instead it shows up as whole rectangles.
new 11 march file takes out some unwanted m files. Hopefully fixes the issue.
Please do Sherman Hill
Its not a route that I own, I could do a mod if I know the route name of the DLC. Maybe it will work.
hope you can add this great mod for Peak Forest, the hills, grass and ballast look silvery at times on it👍
Hello great mod, but the london to brighton the tunnels seem to have some sort of black wall at the entrance of the tunnels, can this be fixed at all?

i dont understand what this mod is meant to do
I’ll post comparisons as I add more routes.
It stops sleeper shine- more consistent track look going into the distance.
Track ballast will resist sunlight and retain its colour. The same with landscapes and farmers fields.
Roads wont be overly bright in the sun.
Plus other changes..
where is the download for BCC or am i just blind and stupid
Apologies. Its there now.
It's a material enhancement pack, AWG. Currently, TSW environment materials are set up as glossy because it makes wet weather easily convincing at the sacrifice of replica roughness, colour accuracy, reflectivity... etc.
