This mod replaces the default MBTA Commuter CTC-3 Cab Car horn with an unused horn found in the files of the cab car. This mod also includes an unused bellsound as well.
These sounds go unused, similar to how the MBTA Commuter F40PH-3C enginesounds went initially unused before being later added in the game. These sounds were recorded off of a CTC-1 cab car, which is likley the reason why these sounds go unused. However it is possible that these sounds may be properly be included in the game in the future without the use of this mod.
NOTE: This mod will NOT work with the Boston Sprinter CTC-3 cab car, as that locomotive is outdated and unsupported by DTG's standards, whereas the MBTA Commuter CTC-3 cab car is currently and continuously being supported and updated by DTG.
Version and Release History
v1.0 - Released 3/5/24 - First Release: Edited hornsound and bellsound cues to enable the usage of the unused horn and bell files. Edited and adjusted sound files of the external hornsound and bellsound files to be louder than they are when not used ingame.

Been waiting for a horn sound mod for these for the longest cause the default is awful and you nailed this. Thank you for this! It would be a bit cooler if the sound can be heard a bit further away from the locomotive as it's dead silence from a short distance. Other then that thank you again for this!
Thank you very much. I don't have much knowledge on how to adjust the distance of the horn just yet, but eventually I will get to it!
