ICE T Soundmod

With Train Sim World 5's first german route, the Kinzigtalbahn, Dovetail Games firstly introduced the ICE T to this franchise. While the traction motor sounds are quite fine on the outside up to 40 km/h, they unfortunately used their homemade ICE 3 TM sounds for the tones beyond that speed, and the internal TM sounds are not really any better.

This soundmod aims to enhance the auditory experience of the ICE T in a few aspects, among others the traction motors, the brake howling and more.

This mod is currently in beta status, as there aren't that many changes available at the moment. There are further plans, but for that I will need to invest more time, resources and motivation back into this project.

Feature Overview

• completely new traction motor soundset with seperate external and internal samples
• new internal rolling sounds
• much more realistic brake howling
• new internal HBU sound
• new ETCS beeping and LZB meep

There is one 'major' thing missing from this soundmod, which is the additional Sync mode the ICE T has on deceleration right after (or before) the Async modulation, aswell as the first Async tone being nonexistent on deceleration either.

Thanks to Linus for providing the internal traction sounds (after I kindly asked for usage permission).

Installation Instructions

Drop the .pak into your DLC folder, found under the following path:
...\steamapps\common\Train Sim World X\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC
